German goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler has left Northampton Town and returned to Manchester United.

Zieler's loan has come to an end as he reached his 93-day limit, and the loan cannot be extended beyond that outside of the transfer window.

He made two appearances for the Cobblers, conceding three goals in the 2-0 defeat by Walsall and 1-1 draw at Brighton.
