Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes is on the verge of joining newly-promoted Antalyaspor.

The Turkish club has already signed Samuel Eto'o and Ronaldinho and club chief Guntekin Gencer has now revealed that his club are on the verge of signing another former Barcelona star.

Goal.com claims that the player in question is former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes.

Valdes joined United on a free transfer in January but has been tipped to leave Old Trafford in search of first-team football.

Speaking to A Spor, Gencer explained: "We are planning to sign one more ex-Barcelona player of the calibre of Eto'o and Ronaldinho.

"I can say that an agreement is so close."
