Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero almost signed for MLS club Inter Miami.
The Argentine is unhappy at United, having been demoted to fourth choice keeper this season.
He had a move to Everton lined up on transfer deadline day, but United did not choose to allow the deal.
According to the Daily Mail, David Beckham's MLS team, Inter Miami, were close to signing Romero before their transfer deadline.
But a move did not go through, much to the disappointment of the veteran keeper.
It appears the 33-year-old will have to wait until January to get a move out of United, at the earliest.
