Dean Henderson won praise from former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar during Sunday's win over Manchester City.

The Englishman kept a clean sheet as United claimed a 2-0 victory over their local rivals.

Henderson also played a part in the second goal, throwing quickly to Luke Shaw who finished off the break with a fine strike past Ederson.

And United legend van der Sar was quick to praise Henderson on social media.

Van de Sar said on Twitter: "Good throw @deanhenderson to start the attack and an unexpected goal scorer in @LukeShaw23 for @ManUtd!! 0-2 come on!!"
