Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has paid tribute to Chris Wilder ahead of him departing from Sheffield United.

Henderson spent two successful season on loan with the Yorkshire club, helping them achieve promotion to the Premier League in 2018-2019 before another impressive campaign in the top flight.

Te shot-stopper had a close relationship with Wilder during his time at the Blades and paid tribute to all he had done for his career.

"Thank you for everything you did for me!! Don't ever underestimate what you did for Sheffield United!" Henderson posted to social media.

"Can't wait to see the statue at the lane! Not only a great manager but a great person. Best of luck for the future."
