Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson says he'll be ready if England call upon him.

Henderson is acting as No2 to Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford for this month's Euros.

He told the Manchester Evening News: "I'm ready to play when it becomes relevant. Jordan deserves this tournament after a fantastic world championship. He has been fantastic in the English national team jersey, so he deserves it.

"I'm ready if the opportunity arises, as Sam Johnstone is, if one of us now has to stand.

"My goal with this tournament is to help Jordan in the best way. I really want to support him so he can do his best for his country."
