Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has announced he and girlfriend Edurne have had a baby girl.
De Gea welcomed his first child Yanay on Thursday after being told by United not to rush back from personal leave in Spain this month.
He wants to return to Old Trafford to reclaim his spot as first-choice goalkeeper but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes it is best if the 30-year-old stays away from the club until after the international break.
De Gea announced the birth of his daughter via social media on Friday, more than 48 hours before United's crucial derby with Manchester City on Sunday.
Dean Henderson is expected to start in goal for the Red Devils and will have six games to show manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer why he can unseat De Gea as first-choice shot stopper.
