Man Utd join Atletico Madrid interest for Eintracht Frankfurt goalscoring star Andre Silva

Manchester United are watching the progress of Andre Silva at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The former AC Milan striker has scored a stunning 18 goals in 20 Bundesliga games this season and his form has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid.

However, Sky Deutschland via Fussball Transfers says Silva's goalscoring has also caught the eye of Manchester United.

United see the Portugal international as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland and believe they can sign him for around €30m.

Under contract at Eintracht until 2023, Silva saw a winter approach from Atletico rejected by sports chief Fredi Bobic.

Silva spent last season on-loan at Eintracht from AC Milan and made the move permanent in the summer in a swap with Ante Rebic signing outright with the Rossoneri.

Overall this season, Silva has scored 19 goals in 22 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt and also provided five assists.

Eintracht Frankfurt currently sit third on the Bundesliga table.
