Ralf Rangnick hopes Edinson Cavani will be available for Manchester United's final three games of the season.
The veteran striker has not played since February 8 and is expected to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer this summer.
Speaking ahead of Thursday's clash with Chelsea, Rangnick revealed Cavani could enjoy a United swansong over the final few games.
"Well, he should be back in training on Friday, so the day after the Chelsea game, according to the team doctor, and then we will have to see," Ralf said.
"He has been out for quite some time now but according to our team doctor he should be back in training on Friday."
