Man Utd interfering in Real Madrid plans for Van de Beek

Manchester United are threatening Real Madrid's plans for Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.

Marca says United are trying to pry the Dutchman away from Los Blancos' grasp with a last-ditch offer.

Van de Beek expected to make the move to the Spanish capital last summer but, given that Real Madrid were unable to sell James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale, he was told he'd have to remain in Amsterdam for one more season.

This comes from a report in the Netherlands, which also states that if United are to be successful in signing Van de Beek, they could only do so if Real Madrid decide to renounce their agreement with the player.

The Ajax star has scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists this season, proving that last year was no fluke.

United understand that it will be difficult to sign the Dutch international due this pre-agreement with Real Madrid, but they will try nonetheless.
