Manchester United are considering a £1million swoop for Sheffield United youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

Calvert-Lewin is one of the most highly rated young players in the Football League at the moment and the 19-year-old enjoyed a fine loan spell at Northampton Town last season, scoring five goals in 20 appearances.

As a result, Calvert-Lewin has been able to attract the interest from a host of Premier League clubs and it has been claimed that giants Man United are planning to make a bid for the Blades wonderkid and nurture his development in their academy, or perhaps send him out on loan.

Everton have previously showed interest but Jose Mourinho appears to be very keen on the teenage attacker.
