Manchester United are stepping up their interest in Crystal Palace fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Sun says United have sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old right-back on a number of occasions already this season.

It is understood they are looking to make an offer for the Palace youngster when the summer transfer window opens in May.

An Old Trafford source said: “Scouts were at Burnley a few weekends back along with Brighton. That is around a dozen times since December.

“They really do like what they see and all the reports back are excellent. He is definitely someone close on the radar.

“Valencia is leaving and Ashley Young is getting on in years. Diogo Dalot is excellent but you can't rely on him too heavily."

Wan-Bissaka is set for an England call-up in the near future, snubbing interest from DR Congo, who he played for at international youth level.
