Manchester United are actively working on plans to replace wantaway midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Daily Mail says Pogba still wants to leave after pushing for moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid over the last two years.
The Frenchman only has 18 months left on his £290,000-a-week contract, although United have an option to extend it by another year until June 2022.
But the fact they have prioritised signing two central midfielders and a striker over the next two transfer windows — most likely in the summer — indicates United are preparing for that eventuality.
They have weighed up a number of midfield options including Donny van de Beek of Ajax and Atletico Madrid's Saul Niguez, while Red Bull Salzburg's Erling Braut Haaland, who shares the same agent, Mino Raiola, as Pogba, is the No 1 striker target.
