Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is a big fan of young midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe.
Tunnicliffe caught Scholes' eye before being loaned out to Peterborough United - at least until January.
"It's very difficult to single people out because there were that many in that youth team that were brilliant last year," Scholes told MUTV.
"Ryan Tunnicliffe was sensational in midfield every time I saw him.
"He has such a physique and presence about him and hunger and desire, which is what you need to go with quality as well.
"I know he has gone out on loan now and probably won't be available for us [straight away]. Ravel Morrison, Will Keane - there are a lot of players, which is healthy for us really. You know how much the manager likes his homegrown talent, his youth players coming through. Looking at the youth team, next year I think we have a lot of good prospects for the first team."
