Man Utd hire brother of Everton defender Keane to replace transfer chief Judge

The brother of Everton defender Michael Keane is set to replace Matt Judge as Manchester United's chief transfer negotiator.

The Daily Mail reports that lawyer Tom Keane, from legal firm Brandsmiths, is joining the Old Trafford club in a consultancy role from next month.

The news is significant for United as they are yet to make a single signing during the summer transfer window.

Keane will play a significant role in negotiating transfers and contracts, the responsibilities held by Judge prior to his resignation.

Michael Keane came through the academy ranks at United.
