Manchester United favourite Park Ji-sung knew Marcus Rashford would go all the way to the top.

The former South Korean winger, a cult hero at United, has never stopped following the club since his departure.

Park outlined the quality he saw in Rashford when the England international first broke through into the first team under Louis van Gaal.

He said, per the Manchester Evening News: "After the World Cup someone pressed the button to explode himself.

“Watching him you wanted to see him score more goals with his performances.

"Everyone expected that his potential is like that.

“He has gained more experience with that and he can be top [player and goalscorer] there in the Premier League."
