Man Utd hero Neville slams 'awful' Rashford performance

Manchester United hero Gary Neville slammed Marcus Rashford's performance for last night's 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace.

The draw means United are now 14 points adrift of league leaders Manchester City, with hopes of a first title since 2013 fading.

"It's a really poor performance, let's be clear about it," the United legend said just before the 70th minute.

“They're so bad. His touches in the second half, Marcus Rashford, have been awful. He can't control the ball when it comes to him."

He added: "Gary Cahill's not been moved out of his position all night. There was no movement, no urgency, they were static. It ended up being so predictable.

“You can't play counter-attack and win the league. You have to be dominant in games, particularly against teams at the bottom of the table."
