Manchester United legend Michael Carrick is set to be announced as the new Middlesbrough head coach.
The former England midfielder has been out of football since leaving his position as United's assistant coach.
Carrick even took interim charge of United for three matches, staying unbeaten, when they sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season.
Per the Daily Mail and other sources, Carrick has now agreed personal terms with Boro.
He had initially turned down the approach, but appears to have changed his mind.
Boro have been seeking a new coach since firing ex-Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder at the start of October.
