Manchester United are still on the trail of Tottenham left back Danny Rose.

While United's links to Rose cooled during the winter, when manager Jose Mourinho was happy with Luke Shaw, they are resurfacing.

Shaw looks set to depart United after failing to establish himself as the club's number one in the position.

And the Evening Standard reports that United are still eager to bring Rose in during the summer transfer window.

A deal could suit Spurs, who are themselves hoping to sign replacements for players in several positions. Rose could join Belgian centre-back Toby Alderweireld as an outgoing transfer from the North London club during the summer.
