Man Utd have new loan plans for D'Mani Mellor

Manchester United aim to send D'Mani Mellor out on loan again before the January transfer window deadline falls.

Mellor, 21, netted twice for United U23s in a victory over Brighton last Friday, just two days after his previous loan deal with Salford City was officially terminated and he was recalled.

The Manchester Evening News talks are now ongoing for Mellor to leave the club again this week amid his pursuit of meaningful minutes, with interest from several clubs in the English Football League.

The United academy forward joined the Ammies on loan last August but saw his time at the Peninsula Stadium hampered by injury early on.

Mellor had only made three appearances for the League Two side, including one on the day he signed, with his final outing for the club coming last week.
