Man Utd have edge on PSG in Malcom cash battle

Manchester United have the edge on PSG in the race for Bordeaux attacker Malcom.

It's been suggested in France that United boss Jose Mourinho is determined to sign the young Brazilian next month.

PSG are also interested in the attacking midfielder but may be forced out of the race due to struggles with meeting Financial Fair Play regulations.

Journalist David Amoyal wrote for ESPN: “While Paris Saint-Germain are also interested, they have to deal with Financial Fair Play parameters, which gives Manchester United a clear advantage in the short term.

"Considering that the Red Devils are eager to add another young talent to their front line, the deal will likely be reached in January with Malcom staying at Bordeaux on loan until the end of the season."
