Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has jumped to the defence of Dean Henderson.

The goalkeeper is on-loan at Sheffield United from United and was to blame for Liverpool's winner yesterday.

Among those to criticise Henderson was Blades boss Chris Wilder.

But Schmeichel insisted: "Dean Henderson is a young guy.

"Clean your head, son, imagine that this never happened. You play great! Life goes on and there will soon be a new match."
