Roy Keane has likened Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish to former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Keane was hugely impressed by the performance of Grealish during England's 1-0 victory against Austria on Wednesday.

Speaking as a pundit for ITV, Keane clearly felt Grealish should get the nod by Gareth Southgate - and paid the the 25-year-old the ultimate compliment by comparing him to the great Cristiano Ronaldo.

"He is the star man, he makes things happen," Keane said.

"He has courage and always wants the ball in tight areas. Like Cristiano Ronaldo at Portugal, you need players like that in your team. It is brave."
