David Beckham is not making plans to enter the coaching caper with his Major League Soccer franchise.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and LA Galaxy star is still planning for life as a club owner but has made it clear that he will not move anywhere near the dressing room in a coaching capacity when his Miami franchise finally gets off the ground.
"I definitely won't get involved in team decisions, though — the way players are playing and things like that," Beckham told the Daily Star.
Beckham was also clear on his role as an owner which is unlikely to feature any famous rollickings in the mould that his former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson used to deliver.
"The hairdryer? Well, I've seen it enough times and I know how it works on the positive side of things. We'll see.
"But I'm not going to manage or coach. I won't get involved in any of that.
"I will just be the owner."
