Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has indicated he is unsure whether Argentine international Angel di Maria will remain a United player this summer.

Di Maria has been heavily linked with a move to French club Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks and van Gaal confirmed the 27-year-old's future at Old Trafford is still up in the air.

"We shall see," van Gaal said on the Red Devils' pre-season tour of the USA.

"In football, it is a process, as I have said many times before in press conferences. It's not clear in one day.

"It's a process for Angel Di Maria, it's a process for Manchester United and we shall see.

"But he is still a member of Manchester United and he has said to me he will come on July 25."
