Man Utd fullback Wan-Bissaka not dropping England hopes

Manchester United fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka remains committed to playing for England.

The Telegraph says Wan-Bissaka is desperate to force his way into Gareth Southgate's England squad ahead of next summer's Euros and will resist switching allegiances to DR Congo.

The right back has not made a senior appearance for the Three Lions after he was forced to withdraw from the squad when he received his only call-up to date last August.

The Manchester United defender has not been selected since and faces strong competition for the right back spot with Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reece James all currently ahead of him.

But Wan-Bissaka is determined to play his way into Southgate's plans.

The defender still qualifies for DR Congo having not made a senior appearance for England but will turn down the chance to switch allegiances.
