Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw says today's trip to Liverpool is a test of their title credentials.
For Shaw, United's true aim is to be challenging for the league title again and the England international believes that Sunday's game will be a good test of where they stand in that conversation.
He explained to Premier League Productions: "They're always big, big games.
"I think if we want to be challenging for the title, I think we need to be going there and winning these games. But, of course, on the other hand, we know it's going to be an extremely tough game.
"They're always a tough game against Liverpool. They're an amazing side, a really good side and I think it's going to be a good game."
