Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw was delighted to be part of Wednesday night's victory at Juventus.

Shaw admits it sets them up for the weekend derby against Manchester City.

He told MUTV: "I think tonight was a special win especially after going 1-0 down it's huge credit to the team for keep fighting and not giving up. I thought we were going to get something before the game.

"A great delivery by Ash at the end and we were fighting for the ball and got a bit of luck I feel like it's deserved we fight to the end. Onwards and upwards and especially with the big game on Sunday.

"We knew we needed to get something out of the game and we would have been happy with a point especially with the way Juve are at home, the group is very tight and it's a tough group.

"We look forward to the next game coming up. Tonight a lot of people will have wrote us off, there's always a lot of negative comments about us and hopefully they'll say something positive about us. This will give us great momentum now and a good few days of training and reboot ahead of the next game. The fans are always amazing and that's for them for travelling over here. Big credit to them for helping us."
