Rafael is delighted with his first team recall at Manchester United.

The fullback enjoyed a successful yet brief cameo appearance against Spurs by replacing Michael Carrick with 87 minutes on the clock.

"It was very good for me and it was also very important for me, to come into the game and play for the first-team again," Rafael told ManUtd.com, before explaining his aims for the rest of the season.

"I just want to be involved now. Of course, it was good to play. Training has been fantastic as well. Now I just want to be involved with the team and if I get a chance, then I want to play well."
