Manchester United fullback Guillermo Varela concedes he's happier at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Varela is on a season-long loan in Frankfurt this season.

"I do not miss Manchester too much, because I find Frankfurt as a city much more beautiful," the fullback said, as he completes his recovery from ankle surgery.

"I have been training with the team for two weeks now and I am working hard on my comeback. If the coach gives me the command, I'll be ready."

Asked about staying next season, he added: "Of course this is an option. But first I want to be 100 percent fit again and play some games this season. Then we can get together."
