Manchester United fullback Diogo Dalot admits he's proud of his efforts over the summer.
Portugal coach Fernando Santos's side may have failed to defend the Euros title they claimed in 2016, but it was another important experience in Dalot's fledgling career.
“Yeah, it was one of the most beautiful summers that I've had in a long time," he told the club's website.
“Obviously with the Under-21s, [we got to] the final. The tournament was fantastic. We deserved to win but in the end we couldn't.
“And then a little bit I was not expecting at all but to be called up last minute for the Euros in the first squad was like a dream come true. Something very, very good for me and my family and it was fantastic to be a part of it."
