Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra was again asked about France's presence at the World Cup yesterday.
France had optimistic appeals for a late penalty rejected against Uruguay after a Thierry Henry shot hit a defender's lower arm.
Asked by an Irish journalist whether referees are now unsympathetic to France following their notoriously controversial play-off goal against the Republic of Ireland, Evra said: "Why do you keep talking about that?
"It is finished now. It's in the past. We are here.
"I don't know, honestly. I was on the pitch and didn't see the incident. Maybe the referee didn't either."
