Manchester United fans face a wait to welcome Swansea City winger Daniel James as their first summer signing.

The Manchester Evening News says United will complete their first summer signing in the middle of June.

The Red Devils are expected to splash the cash this summer as United hope to finish in the top four next season.

And United's first signing will be Swansea's midfielder James.

The majority of the deal is settled, however, the Red Devils will have to wait until the middle of June to land the Wales winger due to international commitments.
