Manchester United are weighing up a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.
The Daily Mail says United owners the Glazers are ready to show their faith in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer by backing him in moves for Saul and RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland.
Saul's deal with Atletico keeps him at the club until 2026, but the midfielder is reported to have a release clause of £135m.
It has been reported that Haaland has a release clause of just £17m, but the 19-year-old Norwegian has been in record-breaking scoring form in the Champions League and a bidding war is likely to ensure when the January transfer window opens with clubs across Europe keen on the striker.
Solskjaer said he is confident of landing his targets as he looks to strengthen the United squad for a surge up the table in the second half of the season.
