Former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay has racked up a whopping £20,000 tax bill for importing a Mercedes 4×4 during his time at Old Trafford.

Memphis Depay failed to make much of an impact on the pitch during his time at Manchester United but he did manage to grab the attention with his flashy lifestyle which included driving a number of extravagant sports cars.

However, Depay has now been left counting the costs of his love for sports car as he was recently forced to pay a £20,000 tax bill after importing a personalised Mercedes 4x4 to England but failing to declare the import on the vehicle during his ill fated 1½ year spell at Manchester United.
