Man Utd fans prepare new Man City banner in case Cup won

Manchester United fans are already planning for Manchester City's FA Cup success this weekend.

The People says United could have the last laugh in their banner war with rivals City, whose boss Roberto Mancini has spoken of his eagerness to get the "35 years" banner ripped down from Old Trafford by winning the FA Cup.

But United fans group Stretford End Flags, who work with the support of the club, have a contingency plan for a replacement.

A new "43 years" banner is set to be designed to mark the length of time City have gone without winning the league title.
