Man Utd fans plan Old Trafford walkout in Glazers protest

Manchester United fans are planning a walk-out at Old Trafford in protest against the clb's owners the Glazers.

Fans disillusioned with the ownership of their club and the way the club is run by executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward have planned the mass protest.

Those behind the move are calling on all United fans to walk out of the stadium in the 58th minute of their Premier League fixture against Wolves on February 1.

The game marks United remembering the Munich air disaster of 1958, which is why those planning the walkout have chosen the 58th minute, for maximum effect.

Organisers of the planned protest hope to convince thousands of United fans to leave their seats in what would be a symbolic gesture and show of strength against the Glazers and the controversial way they run the club, reports the Mirror.

Disillusionment among United fans reached a peak during the shock 2-0 defeat at home to Burnley on Wednesday, the first time the Clarets had won at Old Trafford for 58 years.
