Manchester United youngster Matty James has been included in an offer for Everton youngster Jack Rodwell.

The News of the World says United wanted to offer cash plus youngster James for Rodwell.

But it was made clear to them that only a straight cash deal would be considered.

James is an England youth international and currently playing for Ole Gunner Solskjaer's reserve-team.
