Manchester United have failed with a first offer for Crystal Palace fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Daily Mail says United have had a £40million bid for Wan-Bissaka rejected by Crystal Palace.

The Old Trafford club are now weighing up whether to make an improved offer for the England Under-21 international.

The offer was made in the last 10 days, but comes nowhere near Palace's valuation.

The Eagles want in-excess of £60million for their talented defender.
