Manchester United have hit a snag in their pursuit of Andre Silva.
Eintracht Frankfurt have put the Portugal striker up for sale as they want to sign Luka Jovic on a permanent basis.
United have shown an interest in Silva, who has scored 30 goals in just 45 league games for the Bundesliga club.
However, Metro claim United won't be able to afford Silva if they keep hold of Edinson Cavani.
34-year-old Cavani has been excellent for United this season,
The club have an option to extend the Uruguayan's contact for another year.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must now decide whether to pursue 25-year-old Silva or stick with his veteran lynchpin.
