St Etienne are scrambling to keep hold of William Saliba.

The centre-half is being tracked by Manchester United, while Le 10 Sport says Real Madrid are also keen.

United have made contact with ASSE for Saliba to discuss a price, but the Ligue 1 outfit are desperate not to lose the youngster.

The 18 year-old has had his head turn by the interest and efforts from St Etienne to open new contract talks have so far fallen on deaf ears.

United are willing to offer €30m for Saliba, though ASSE rate him at €40m.
