Manchester United are keeping tabs on Boubakary Soumare.

The Red Devils see the Lille starlet as the next Paul Pogba.

If United were to lose Pogba in the summer, which seems likely given their current league position, the 20-year-old may be the ideal replacement.

The news comes from ESPN, which suggests a summer move for Soumare is likely.

The midfielder is best known for his defensive qualities, but he can pick out a pass and start counter attacks as well.

Soumare has three Champions League and eight Ligue 1 appearances for Lille so far this season.
