Manchester United have received fresh encouragement in their interest for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
Skriniar is a target for United manager Jose Mourinho, with former England coach Fabio Capello confirming the interest after speaking with the Portuguese earlier this season.
Inter have been eager to secure Skriniar to a new contract, but Gazzetta dello Sport says he's put all negotiations on hold.
And it's suggested the key reason for the decision is United's interest and the prospect of moving to England.
For the moment, Skriniar has not offered any indication he'll demand a move away, but things could change closer to the January market.
