Manchester United winger Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba have pulled out of France's squad for the upcoming fixtures against the Netherlands and Uruguay.
Pogba missed Sunday's loss to Manchester City after failing to recover in time from a knock sustained against Juventus in midweek.
Martial did feature at the Etihad and scored United's only goal, but he has also withdrawn due to fitness concerns.
Tottenham's Moussa Sissoko and Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette were called to replace the United duo. However, Lacazette has also pulled out after consulting with Arsenal's medical staff.
"This decision was taken after an exchange between Dr. Franck Le Gall and his counterparts at Arsenal," a statement on Twitter read on Monday.
