Man Utd due tidy windfall as Ronaldo completes Juventus move

Manchester United will earn a tidy windfall from Real Madrid's sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

Juventus have paid Real £93m for his services, but they must also pay the Manchester club for their role in helping develop the Portuguese into one the world's greatest players.

The Italian side plan to split payment of the £93m fee over two seasons, and The Times report that under FIFA regulations United are owed around £5m as for aiding his career progression.

Ronaldo's enjoyed an incredible spell at Real Madrid, helping the Spanish giants win FOUR Champions League titles.

But he's now off to Italy to try and end Juventus' European trophy drought, which dates back to 1996.
