New contracts are being prepared for three Manchester United players. The Mirror says United are to offer new deals to Phil Jones, his defensive partner Chris Smalling and Ashley Young.
The trio are all out of contract at the end of next season, but United chiefs have moved swiftly to secure their futures with the Old Trafford giants.
Jones and Smalling have formed a successful central defensive pairing in United's last two games, including Sunday's 2-1 win at Liverpool. United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is understood to have opened talks with the representatives of all three players.
