Manchester United will not Matteo Darmian leave the club cheaply.

Jose Mourinho blocked Darmian's wish to return to Italy in the summer.

The right-back has made just one appearance this season and is behind Antonio Valencia and Diogo Dalot on the pecking order.

According to the Evening Standard, United want to at least recoup the £12.7m they paid Torino for Darmian in 2015.

Darmian is out of contract in the summer but United have the option of triggering a 12-month extension.
