Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe is fully recovered from foot surgery.
The Manchester Evening News says Tuanzebe, 22, underwent an operation that sidelined him for all of United's games after last season's restart in June but he has fully recovered and not suffered any setbacks.
Despite an injury-plagued season, Tuanzebe is confident of his playing prospects at United and a source close to the defender said 'he feels brand new'.
Although Tuanzebe is fit he is lacking match rhythm and United could recall him in either the League Cup fourth round - provided they progress past Luton or Reading - in late September or for the visit of Tottenham on the weekend of October 3.
"Axel is getting closer," Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said on Friday. "In a few weeks' time, I guess he will be with us training full-time and hopefully we'll be able to give him games quickly."
