Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has hit out over claims of why he's leaving Estudiantes.
Rojo has blasted reports stating his loan spell will not be extended due to a breach of lockdown rules.
The 30-year-old was filmed breaching the prevalent rules by publicly going to play padel.
But Rojo says if he is to leave the club, it will have been United's choice, not because of the breach.
"I haven't had a call from anyone at the club," Rojo posted on Instagram. "It's incredible how they invent so many stupid things.
"If I'm leaving Estudiantes, it is not for this and I came here because I wanted and made it possible because United didn't want to let me go and from here, it was impossible to do anything. It's a pity that everyone believes what people say."
