Man Utd defender Rojo admits Estudiantes loan over - for now

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo admits his loan with Estudiantes has come to an end - for now.

The Manchester Evening News says United tried to sell Rojo in four of the last five summer transfer windows and will let him leave this summer if an appropriate offer comes in, however the defender admits he can't promise his next move will be back to Estudiantes.

"When I found out that I was going back to Estudiantes a few months ago, I said that it didn't matter how long this return lasted and that I just wanted to enjoy the happiness that being home again generated for me," Rojo wrote on his personal Instagram account.

"I SWEAR I WAS HAPPY! For seeing my mother's eyes full of tears again before entering to play. For stepping on the lawn of "UNO". For feeling the support of the glories of my club. For receiving enormous gestures of affection and encouragement from the whole family ... For wearing the colors of my life once again.

"I know it didn't reach. I know that maybe I will be in debt for not being able to return so much love and unconditionality!

"It is my turn to say goodbye, and I go back to sleep choking, with a bittersweet taste, and chewing the anger of knowing that the effort and the desire to return lacked football.

"Surely this is not the time to swear or promise returns, but I know that I am leaving more "punctured" than when I arrived, because this club once again gave me a lesson in affection and gratitude, and because I know that in the Estudiantes dictionary "dreams" , the "fight" and the "belonging" COMMAND!

"Thanks to my family

"THANK YOU Estudiantes

"SEE YOU SOON!"
